DECEMBER 11-15

This week we wrapped up the Canadian Charter Unit with case study discussions. This was followed later in the week with a Unit Test on the Canadian Charter where students were required to apply the charter to various real-world scenarios. We will continue our examination of human rights on the international stage with a viewing of the film Eye In The Sky next week.

DECEMBER 11-15

This week we finished the film Troy. Later in the week we looked at the reality behind the legend with an examination of Heinrich Schliemann and Homer: the archeologist and poet behind the myth. On Friday the class was introduced to the Greek Dark Ages. Next week we will look at the revival of Greek unification that will come with the Olympics.

DECEMBER 11-15

This week we wrapped up the Geology Unit with a look at the various landforms of Canada. This was followed by a review of the unit and later in the week a Unit Test. We will finish our examination of the period with a viewing of the docudrama on the 1883 Krakatoa eruption next week.
